Event Objectives

This event aims to provide students with a morning of fun activities that will raise their expectation of their own capability, give them a new confidence, introduce them to new physical activities and develop their sense of overall well-being. This event would benefit students who are low in confidence, or those who have found it hard to settle into secondary school and those that don’t naturally sign up for enrichment activities.

Pre-event  

• We can accommodate 6 schools to this event on a first come first served basis.
• Each school to select 6 girls and 6 boys from Key Stage 3 who are water confident.
• By the 25 September please confirm the names of your students attending and if any of your students cannot be photographed. Please note no photography will be taken from the poolside.
• Kit list: students should wear PE kit and bring a packed lunch, water bottles, a towel, and a swimming costume. They are permitted to bring an additional t-shirt to wear in the pool if they so wish. No phones to be brought to the event as the changing rooms will be used for leaving goods and for safe-guarding reasons.
