The Big Bake – postponed

Objectives: To build confidence with working with new people, to develop time management skills and develop experience in relation to working to a brief and have fun.

What to do now:

Each partner school is invited to send 2 students from years 7 to 10.

Schools may wish to hold an internal selection procedure to select these bakers.

On the day:

Arrival and lunch.

10 teams of two students (i.e. mixed pairs with students from different schools).

The students will be set a “technical challenge” – a sweet bake, with ingredients and instructions provided and will have a set period of time to make and present this.
