Revision boot-camp at St Edmund’s School, Canterbury

Taking place from Monday 22 April (please note this is a bank holiday) – Friday 26 April. The days will run from 9am to 4pm and will consist of the following:

– A morning session involving revision planning and preparation

– Three sessions of intensive (silent) revision

– One session of group revision

– One end of day review session

 NB/ The sessions are not ‘taught’ sessions

The first morning of the camp will be an opportunity for students to organise their folders and notes and collate all necessary materials and resources, as well as creating bespoke revision programmes for the week ahead. The final afternoon will offer an opportunity to plan ahead with regard to the Summer term and study leave.

There will be a strict policy on mobile phones and access to the internet during the revision sessions themselves. Students should be made aware that mobile phones will be prohibited during the sessions and made available to them at break and lunchtime only. In the event of an emergency, there will be a mobile phone with a member of staff at all times. Lunch and snacks will be provided for all but students are welcome to bring any additional food or drink with them.

Two places per school (free of charge) and sign up by 1st March 2019.
