Each school is invited to bring the same students along that came to day one on 10 May.

  • To reflect on how society has changed
  • To see how life has changed for students over the course of 60 years
  • To nurture an academic interest in local history

Outcome: With the support of Christ Church ambassadors, students will produce an array of dynamic posters using collage, newspaper cut-outs and photos that will be displayed as part of our Diamond Jubilee celebration.

Teacher role: Teachers will play a supervisory role, ensuring that students are on their best behaviour and focused on the task at hand. The event will be led by academic and professional staff from CCCU.

Evaluation: The event will be evaluated by all students attending.

Practicalities: Students are invited to wear their own clothes to this event. For lunch they can either bring a packed lunch or bring money to purchase food in the food court.
