Careers: My Future Kent and Medway

In collaboration with Learn Live UK, The Kent & Medway Enterprise Adviser Network are inviting you to a live stream careers event where young people, parents and carers can hear about the opportunities available to them. The event is supported by the Careers and Enterprise Company and forms part of the My Choices bank of resources.

The My Future Kent & Medway event will be broadcast twice on Friday 4^th December.

1:30 – 3pm   aimed at students

5:30 – 7pm   aimed at parents & carers (and students too)

Please can we ask that you share the attached letter with your parent network.

To get involved, register for My Future Kent & Medway, scrolling to the bottom of the webpage. Please share this link with your school/college staff so they can register to access the stream in class/bubbles. Students can also register individually.

The event is split into 4 themes; World of work, Pathways, Exploring ideas & decision making and Making it happen. During the live stream, through the live chat function, students, parents and carers can interact with contributors from apprenticeship providers, college, careers advisers and more.

Because the broadcast is made up a lots of bite size videos, it is really accessible. We understand that it may not be possible to take over a whole lesson but perhaps they could be watched at the beginning or end of a lesson or during form time.
