16+ Volunteering Fair

We are currently planning to host a 16+ Volunteering Fair  at Spires Academy, Canterbury on Friday 5 October 2018 in association with CCCU and a number of local, national and international charities. 

Each partner school will bring 12 students to the event and they will hear from a Key Note speaker, have a chance to visit all the stalls hosted by charities, listen to students talk about their experiences of volunteering and attend workshops. Volunteering Fair poster

Following the event these students will act as ambassadors at their schools to spread the word to hundreds of others about volunteering opportunities.  

Our main aim with this event is to encourage, educate and enthuse others in our community, introducing them to the many benefits volunteering offers.
