Funding success – EKST is awarded two grants

We are delighted to have been awarded funding from two grant giving bodies at the start of our third year in operation. These awards are a really fantastic acknowledgement of our work and its success to date and will make a huge difference in the reach of our programme in this coming year.

The first award was from The Crown Charitable Fund via the Kent Community Foundation for our well-being focused work with young people in the form of our partnership choir – The Big Sing. This is particularly lovely to receive because we have had support from The Crown Charitable Fund before and repeat support is a really great acknowledgement of the success of our work and the real impact it has.

The second award was received from a new fund, The Cleary Foundation, for our work focusing on building resilience and confidence and improving overall well-being of students through outdoor learning workshops. These workshops will be the first of their kind for EKST and so this support allows us to broaden our innoative programme.

Grateful thanks to both bodies. We look forward to evaluating our work and reporting on the impact.
