This free competition is open to children and students between the ages of 3 and 19 with awards presented to entries from each year group. All entries are graded by engineers with winning and shortlisted pupil designs displayed at public exhibitions up and down the country.
CCCU are working in partnership with Primary and Secondary Engineers this year (their website here) and are hosting a launch event in our Augustine House library building on Tuesday next week. This event will introduce the competition and give staff and students a chance to speak with Engineers and interact with some hands-on engineering activities.
The event is available for all year groups so the age of attendees is very flexible.
If your students and/or members of staff are interested in attending on Tuesday 27th November to find out more about this national competition, please reply to me with details of numbers of staff and students.
