NEW!! Second Creative Writing Workshop at King’s School, Canterbury Monday 26th January 2026
Delighted to confirm that Lydia from King’s School has now kindly offered to run a second workshop, following the very successful first one at King’s earlier this week. This new creative writing workshop can be offered to EKST students in Year 7 and above- potentially visiting Canterbury Cathedral again as part of the workshop at King’s.
This session will be taking place on Monday afternoon 26th January 2026. Please can you complete this very quick form to confirm attendance and how many pupils you’d like to bring.
We will then get back to you after Christmas to confirm details/ parking etc for those who may need it.
On a separate note, obviously I’m aware we’re gearing up for the end of term, it would be much appreciated if the nominated student leads at all the schools involved can really drive momentum around this project once we’re all back. From a safeguarding point of view, it would probably be best if colleagues emailed the short stories/ poems over to Carolyn and Danny at CCCU for review (their email addresses are above in the group list).
As previously mentioned, they need to review students’ work asap and we would love to have contributions sent over to them in January.
Many thanks for everyone’s support and we look forward to seeing lots of you at the workshop in January and Danny and Carolyn are really looking forward to receiving students’ work too. Any questions etc, please email ekstpartnership@gmail.com
