St Edmund’s School, Canterbury (Astroturf)Event Objectives
This event in our calendar has been added to provide students with a morning of activities that will raise their expectation of their own capability, give them a new confidence, introduce them to new physical activities and develop their sense of overall well-being following the last few Covid-19 years.
Pre-event
• We can accommodate five schools to this event on a first come first served basis (including St.Ed’s).
• Each school can bring 15 students from Key Stage 3.
• Kit list: students should wear PE kit, bring a water bottle and sun-cream/waterproof weather kit.On the day of the event
• Schools to arrive for a 9:10am to St Edmund’s Canterbury. Parking in St Giles Lane Carpark.
• Upon arrival students will be mixed up and split into 5 teams with older students/ volunteers as team leaders.
• Students will be asked to fill out an evaluation form at the start and at the end of the event.
• Awards and certificates: There will be certificates for all attending and some special awards on the day.

Refreshments are kindly being provided for staff and students on the morning.
Depending on numbers signed up etc, we may be in touch again to request additional support from EKST 6th form students who helped on previous occasions and were a fantastic support!
