Open Debating Competition
The King’s School Open Debating Competition will take place on Tuesday 21 January and all EKST schools are invited to attend.
The event will take place from 2.00pm till 8.00pm and will include a supper prior to the final debate.
Schools are invited to bring an even number of students as they will debate in pairs (a maximum of 3 pairs). Pupils can be from any year in KS 4 or 5. This event is open to all including novice debaters but within each pair it will be helpful if at least one of them has some experience of debating (not necessarily in a competition). Certificates of participation will be given to all who take part with book tokens for the final four pairs.
